Notice of Public Hearing

The Hocking County Commissioners intend to apply to the Ohio Development Services Agency (ODSA) for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding under the Residential Public Infrastructure Grant (RPIG) Program. Community Development Block Grants are federally-funded grants administered by the state. The county is eligible for up to $750,000 in RPIG funding, providing the county meets applicable requirements.

#1 Dog Tag Winners

This year's dog tag winners are:

The #1 Dog is Zoey, Owner Candy Mullins. Candy will receive a lifetime dog tag

The #2 Dog is Woody, Owner Bobbi Bishop.  Bobbi will receive a $30 gift certificate to the Millstone Restaurant

The #3 Dog is Bear, Owner Charles Ohde.  Charles will receive a $25 gift certificate to the Hungry Buffalo Restaurant.

Legal Notice - Radio Console Phase 3

Sealed bids will be received by the Hocking County Commissioners in the Commissioner’s Office, Hocking County Courthouse, 1 East Main St. Logan, OH 43138 until March 5 at 9:30 a.m. for Phase 3 of a Radio Console Upgrade in the 911 Center. The specifications will be on file in the Hocking County Commissioners Office and on the 911’s website: www.hockingcounty911.com

Said bids shall be sealed and marked “Bid for 911 Radio Console Upgrade.”

New Reinstatement Fee Amnesty Initiative

Effective January 31, 2019
COLUMBUS - House Bill 336, the Reinstatement Fee Amnesty Initiative, created a six-month program for driver license reinstatement fee reduction and waiver for offenders whose driver licenses have been suspended for specific violations. The initiative only applies to a driver license or permit suspension; it does not apply to a commercial driver license or commercial permit suspension.
