Effective January 1, 2026 Title fees will increase from $15.00 to $18.00 as a result of House bill 96. The $3.00 increase is allocated specifically to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Fund

Inclement Weather: If we are on a level 2 The clerks office & title office will open at 10 AM. If we are on a Level 3 both Title & Legal offices will be closed .
 

Both offices are closed from 12:00-1:00 PM for lunch.

I am pleased to provide this web page as a public service to our community. The Hocking County Clerk of Courts offices, both Legal and Titles, strive to provide efficient and friendly service to those we serve.

Here is a link to the Filing Fees as of July 1st, 2025

The Internet Inquiry link allows the public to view case filings for Domestic, Civil, Felony Criminal cases, Fourth District Court of Appeals cases originating in the Hocking County Common Pleas Court, and Certificate of Judgment filings. 

Cases contained in the public records have a beginning date of January 1, 1996, except for Certificates of Judgment, which begin with January 1, 2003. 

If a post decree action for an older Domestic case has been filed, these cases are included.
